ONBOARDING

Together with Ingram, we ensure that you know exactly where you stand and what you can expect. So you will feel welcome quickly and you are ready to get started!

🤝 Before you start
Come to our office in Waalwijk for a first acquaintance with the Flexmanager or Jobcoach of HOBIJ, we will discuss the content of the work with you and what you can expect from your new job. Is this your ideal job? Then we will arrange all the paperwork for your first working day. The planning is finalized every Friday, so on Friday you will be definitively informed about on which day and at what time you can start.

📑 In the days after
You will receive a welcome e-mail from HOBIJ containing all the important information you need: house rules, telephone numbers, how to report sickness, how to check the transport schedule, how to check your work schedule, et cetera. You will also receive login details for the Ingram system so that you can check your schedule. Very handy, because this can also be done via an App, so that you can view your planning everywhere and always be aware of any changes.

▶ Your first working day at Ingram
Of course you will make sure that you are present half an hour before your very first shift starts! The Flexmanager or Jobcoach will check your ID, you will receive your safety shoes and a HOBIJ T-shirt (if you don't have a black T-shirt yourself). Afterwards you will meet the Flexcoaches from Ingram and a presentation and training will be given for everyone who starts at Ingram for the first time.

During this introduction, your level of the English language will be tested, outside the high season. In high season, it is checked which language you speak to ensure that you can follow the training and presentation in Romanian, Polish, Spanish, English or Dutch. During the presentation, the house rules are discussed and what the expectations are when you start working at Ingram.

After the presentation you will be escorted to the training room; in this separate room only training sessions are given so that you will be well prepared for the workplace. As soon as you feel comfortable you can go to the workplace to carry out your work. During the break, you will take a break with other new flex workers in a separate room so that you can share your first day and impressions.

📅 What does your first week look like?
Usually you have 2, sometimes 3 days of training. The rest of the week you can work according to your schedule, which you received on Friday.
