Every week we do our utmost to process all the working hours. At the end of the week we will send the payment of all salaries to the bank, after which it will be credited to your bank account as an employee. Take note, this is the salary for the previous week.
The period between the transfer from us and the time you receive your salary depends on which bank you are affiliated with. Your salary is paid from a Dutch bank account and if you use a foreign account number, this can take a little longer before you actually receive the salary. If this does not work well for you, you can always ask the Dutch banks to open a bank account.
When national holidays do not fall on the weekend, this can cause delays with transfers.
You can check your salary slip on the portal via the website (click on login). You can also find an explanation there.
If you cannot find the answer to your question here, you can send an e-mail with your question to your HOBIJ contactperson.
This depends on various factors. We pay you according to the CLA of the company that you are working for. You earn the same salary here as others working in the same position and circumstances as you.
The statutory taxes and contributions are deducted from your gross salary.
If you require more details on your specific salary, please contact your flex manager.
If you would like to provide us with a new bank account number, please send an e-mail to your flex manager. Do not forget to clearly include your agreement for changing your current bank account number.
In accordance with the legal provisions, we will pay out the unsettled reservations owed to you, within six weeks after the last week that you worked.
No, you will work one week, and your salary will be paid on the Friday after your first worked week.
Yes, you can, you are free to indicate on which IBAN you would like to receive your salary.
With a foreign bank account number the processing time of the deposit may take a little longer.
It depends on the distance. HOBIJ helps you with the transport. This could be per bicycle, or you can drive along with a colleague or have your own vehicle to use. Your flex manager will handle this for you.
You receive this in your personal HOBIJ portal. We e-mail the login details to your indicated e-mail address.
You can find all information such as documents to be approved, salary slips, reservations, vacation pay and vacation hours in your HOBIJ portal.
If you take vacation, in consultation with the hirer and flex manager, you will see this on your salary slip and we will pay it just like your salary, on the following Friday.
If you have an insufficient balance, you take unpaid leave.
From Monday 28 February 2022, both the holiday allowance and the extralegal holiday hours will be paid out on a weekly basis.
The amount already accrued up to Monday 28 February 2022 will remain. We will pay this out in the old way, in the first week of June. Important: the total benefits will remain the same compared to the old situation, only the timing of payment will be brought forward from once a year to every week.
If you stop working at HOBIJ permanently before june 2022, you will receive the remainder of your reservations at the latest 6 weeks after you stopped working.
We pay within 6 weeks after your last worked week, in accordance with the law.
The final statement is published on your last regular salary slip. Therefore, we make a new copy of your last salary slip and add the reservations.
The rent and care are therefore related to your second to last salary slip and have nothing to do with your final statement.
When you report sick, the first day is handled as a waiting day, in other words, the first day of the report is not paid out. This regulation is applied in accordance with the CLA.
From the second sick leave day you will receive 90% of the average number of hours over the past 13 weeks.
If you do not have a health care insurance, HOBIJ will organise a health care insurance for you, with HollandZorg.
The contribution for the health care insurance is deducted from your salary and you can see this on your salary slip. This already includes the discount that HOBIJ receives on this.
If you have taken out your own health care insurance, then it is not necessary for your health care insurance via HOBIJ to continue. Send a copy of your new policy to your flex manager. He/she will register this in our administration. We will then cancel your registration from this day and stop the periodical deduction from your salary.
When you hand in your bicycle, you fill in a return form with your details and possible defects on the bicycle. We process this in our administration and ensure that you receive the amount deposited on your bank account number.
If you receive a fine from HOBIJ, this will be deducted from your next salary.
We deduct the rent weekly from your wage. You can see this on your salary slip.
Then you are still registered as resident, contact your flex manager.
A percentage of the catalogue price of the vehicle that you are using, is added to your wage. This amount is taxable.
The percentage is determined by the government on the basis of the CO2 emission of the vehicle, in other words, the cleaner the vehicle, the lower the addition percentage.
For example, if you use a car of 13.030 Euro, with an addition of 22%, then 2866.60 Euro will be added to your annual wages and you will pay tax on this.
An amount of 2866.60 / 52 = 55.13 will then be added to your wages, per week.
So you do not receive 55.13 Euro in addition to your salary, but this amount is added, because the tax is then calculated on this, which HOBIJ must pay to the tax authorities.
When your employment with Hobij is terminated, we will pay out your balance of outstanding holidays and holiday pay within six weeks. This will therefore be paid on the same day as you normally receive your salary from us. With the final bill you will receive a correction slip from your last working week. This week has already been paid out, when the holiday reservations are paid, we will add them to the payslip, after which a residual payment will follow (provided there are no more outstanding deductions).
We use the first page on the pay slip to provide visual insight into what is paid to you in full and what the agreed deductions are. The second page is more specific and gives you as an employee the clearest information. You can clearly see the relationship between your gross salary, the wage tax that is withheld according to Dutch standards and any agreed deductions resulting in your net salary at the bottom of the line. If certain aspects on your pay slip are unclear, you can find them on our chatbot which can immediately provide the necessary explanations and references.
It may happen that your pay slip will show "not offsettable deduction". This has to do with the agreed deductions such as health insurance or housing costs. But it may also be that there are outstanding fines. The deduction that cannot be completed at that time is shown under "not offsettable". This allows you to see for yourself what can still be deducted from your salary in the coming periods, provided that a sufficient minimum salary remains.
This concept on your payslip indicates the total wage tax deduction. In the Netherlands we use a progressive tax system. This means the more you earn, the more tax we pay. On the website www.belastingdienst.nl you can view the wage tax tables that we must use for this. Your gross salary is the basis for the wage tax to be withheld. The wage tax that is withheld from your salary is paid by HOBIJ to the tax authorities in the Netherlands, here it is kept on the basis of your salary whether you have paid enough wage tax on your total annual income. It is a so-called pre-tax, for that reason, for example, when holiday pay is paid out, a higher percentage special rate is withheld to protect you against an additional taxation from the tax authorities.
This term indicates your gross salary and the basis for calculating your wage tax. Do you want to know how wage tax is calculated or determined? Then look at the term: deducted payroll tax / premium national insurances.
